Mark (Bertie) has a number of gospel illusions and tricks to illustrate bible stories and to tell object lessons to children. Most tricks have a Christian message and are fun to watch by all. He is also a member of the North Western Society of Magians .

Mark and Sarah have recently been invited to take part in a number of secular events, for example the St. Helens Festival, and the Millom Christmas Market. Here Mark with the help of Sarah attracts a crowd and Mark performs a magic show for the children and adults and as always audience participation is necessary. At the end of the 15 - 20 minute show he delivers a gospel message to the crowd. In one event last year over 460 leaflets were given out to the crowd. Mark and Sarah would dearly love to increase that number this year as well as give out other Christian material.

		Part of the gospel message. Reminding the children that Jesus was killed for them on a cross because he loved us so much. Mark has often said he would love to explore the car boot/flea market. As we read through the Gospels and and see Jesus at work, he is were the people are most of the time. As it is becoming more difficult to encourage people, young families, teenagers into church's Mark believes we should take the church to them. Which means if they are going to car boot sales/flea markets etc then so should we go as Christians and share the gospel there.   So in 2010 Mark is actively seek ways that he can do that.
